Back to Belek, Kadriye et Lara Beach

Already tuesday. Days seem long here in winter. I have the feeling to take profit of every second here.

We went at midday to Belek and Kadriye, the 2 villages close to Club Asteria, where we’ve worked some years ago.

We stopped in Kadriye to eat the famous Yengen, a kind of hamburger you can only find there. If it happens to you to go to Kadryie one day, to stop at the Yengen place is a must!

In 4 years, Kadriye became a real town. Nice palm trees, hospital, school, and so on…

All around, on the road going to hotels, there are now hundreds of houses that have been built. You can buy them or rent them for the season.

After this, we continued our road till Lara, difficult to acces because of the new hotels that are being built. We met an old colleague and friend, Volkan, who is now Entertainment manager of IC Comfort. The Hotel was closed but it looked anyway fantastic with the pools and this Bali style.

I understood this afternoon that Turkey is really getting higher with tourism compare to Europe. You can find everything you want, everything you don’t even expect to find!

Everyday, I wonder if our decision to leave this country was good or not. I see Revaz has the same feelings as me.

To be entertainment manager, it means you realize your own shows free of charge. The Hotel gives you the budget necessary and you’ve got a choreograph, a sound and light master and a decorator just for yourself. These 4 people can satisfy their highest desires. Its is the most beautiful job in this world.
