Today is our last day here. I walked around Manavgat for the last time this year.
The weather is unbelievable bad today. It reminds me Belgium. It’s raining cats and dogs. The town was desertic because of the weather.

Every thursday, there is the bazar in Managvat. I found very cheap clothes: a pullover for 2€ and a t-shirt for 2,50€. If you go there onde day, you better look at the products and clothes they use to sell on basic stands. It is the cheapest and the quality isn’t bad. Read the rest of this entry »

Today, we’ve rest all day long. I went quite quickly to the midtown and spent the rest of my time at home, discussing and staying with my family. It is good to be together again.
We talk a lot about the evolution of this country with Revaz. I’ve spent some time watching videos of Entertainment shows. It reminded me strong moments, these minutes that give you wings. I felt simply happy.

Already tuesday. Days seem long here in winter. I have the feeling to take profit of every second here.
We went at midday to Belek and Kadriye, the 2 villages close to Club Asteria, where we’ve worked some years ago.
We stopped in Kadriye to eat the famous Yengen, a kind of hamburger you can only find there. If it happens to you to go to Kadryie one day, to stop at the Yengen place is a must!
In 4 years, Kadriye became a real town. Nice palm trees, hospital, school, and so on…
All around, on the road going to hotels, there are now hundreds of houses that have been built. You can buy them or rent them for the season.

Nice weather, so we took the car and went to Alanya. It was my first time there. It looks ike Marmaris. I don’t like it. Before you enter the town they have constructed new large roads and tunnels.
We have visited KAle, the castel above the town. The view was really nice! We could even see Manavgat from there.
In the evening we went to the Sammy nightclub nearby Side. It was the only one opened at this time of the year. We’ve spent a nice evening but were quite surprised about the prices: 22 million for 1 coke and 1 cocktail. It is about 15€. Turkey has really changed!
